The human population has experienced a rapid and unprecedented increase, confronting us with the necessity of functioning within larger, more collaborative environments. Throughout our history on Earth, we have progressively developed organizational structures for larger groups, marked by milestones such as the invention of written language and currency. However, the recent surge in population growth and globalization has presented a unique challenge. I see two ways we can deal with this as a species:

1 – Authoritarian organizations, a method of imposing order on billions of people (not the future I want)

2 – Strengthening our species’ capacity for communication (improving mutual understanding) and systemic thinking (recognizing our role within a broader system and understanding how individual actions impact the whole).
